There are so many diets out there:  The low fat diet, the low carb diet, the Paleo diet, the autoimmune diet, etc.   The KEY thing to realize is that the food you eat not only feeds you but it feeds your gut microbiome also for the better or worse for your health.  This video from the journal Cell is an excellent summary of this concept.
